My old RayBans

Sunny day out with my old RayBans...

Exam Time Outfit - ETO

This is a relatively comfortable outfits for the exam time.
No matter I sick, tired or lazy I am I don't wear sweats outside my house.
I don't even wear sweats at the gym!
My bangs are securely clipped to the side and my best friend of all, Milk Duds are by my side.

If you can't have fun during exam times, have fun with your nails!

Spring Flowers on the hill

Flowers by my house...
Suuny, breezy hill

Tree

I saw this tree by the library (where else would I have been during exam period).
It reminded me of ther early drawing of the tree by Piet Mondrian (1872-1944).
Had an artistic moment there.

Piet Mondrian's sketches

Spring Flowers

These were taken weeks ago, before my exams.
Lovely flowers nearby the library bus stop.
There's something very raw, ungroomed, and untamed about them...but so pretty

Visiting Gastown Again

Love the cool little stores along Water St. and Carrell St.
From Vintage consignment stores to high-end boutiques, Gastown is full of surprises!

One of a few was such a cute store, but expect high prices.
Unique pieces by local and international designers.

Grab a quick bite and a drink from the cozy Brioche!
LYNNstevens carries the best selection of jewelry!
I was eyeing the thick clear bangles with colourful bugs inside. So cool!
Pourhouse Restaurant, a cool place I wanted to go eat!
A church near Beatty St.
It's an indication that you are exiting Gastown and into the core downtown area.

If Black is to Winter, then White is to Spring (SATC II)

Time to make a transition to whites! For summer of 2010, white is back!
In fact, white is a staple colour for spring if black is at winter times.

And who knows better than SJP or Carrie Bradshaw?
Last spring when SATC first welcomed us to the world of fabulousness, Carrie is shown wearing a white dress with a huge flower. This spring, she is also wearing white, a gorgeous Halston dress. Although I don't fancy her reflective aviator sunglasses, her dress is fabulous.

I heard that Miley Cyrus is being featured in SATC II, but
I really wonder where the Disney mega star fits in the movie....
Maybe she'll learn a thing or two from the 4 style-gurus.

Godiva Chocoiste Chocolate Pearls

Since the Robson location of Godiva has closed down (a year ago), I haven't seen many Godiva products.
One time, I had to go all the way to Oakridge to get their heavenly chocolate frappucchino.
Luckily, I found Godiva products at The Bay.
I picked up some chocolate as usual, but these were perfect for carrying around.
I love the tin cans and the smaller-than-bite-size chocolate pearls.
They come in Milk chocolate, Dark chocolate, Dark with mint and White chocolate.

Nail Art (Baby blue, Baby Pink)

Here's my attempt for a new nail art.
I really loved the baby blue colour, but I had to put so many coats to get that colour and it wouldn't dry completely. At the end, I opted for a pale pink colour (the french nail pink) and it looked much neater and dried much faster. It's neater, but not entirely perfect because the edges of my finger nail were too dry :(

Stylish Bunch

There is a hilarious show called "Infinity Challenge" in Korea featuring six comedians to take on new challenges.
They usually film their show domestically, but took a challenge and went to New York as "pretend fashionistas."
The episode was actually few months back in January, and if you were in Manhattan back then, you would've seen six guys dressed very flamboyantly and walking around everywhere to complete given tasks.
You might have seen them jogging half-naked in Central Park during the cold season and shooting their calendar photos parodying a well-known painting, Botticelli's "The Birth of Venus."

I love how they are went outrageous with their outfit.
The guy with bleached hair is a comedian who actually became a desginer for his own fashion line.
He is known for his daring style, so this wasn't really a challenge for him.

The Colours of Kate Spade

The first sign of spring in Vancouver is when it stays sunny for at least for three consecutive days, when cherry blossoms bloom at UBC campus and when your hands are fine without gloves.
It was such a nice day today and I decided to wear super bright, almost neon-ish colours.
My workout bag is not shown in the photos, but it's Nike and its neon pink with orange stripes.
If I wore my magenta socks instead of my black ones, the colour scheme of the photos would remind me of Kate Spade ads.
