My Adventures @ H&M

Fall is the BEST season for H&M I have to say.
They have much better stock during the colder season than the warmer ones.
H&M is featuring shearing, leather, and lots of lots of lace.
I loved lacy details even before it hit the trend market.
I as always a boho-victorian girl, or as my mother says, "granny style."

This coat is featured on the H&M catalogue. It is the cutest thing ever.
The picture is bad, but it's a capey-overthrow with leather rope for belt.
Perfect for breezy days.
I am in love with the Sherlock Holmes camel elbow detail!
The camel pants on the right will go perfectly with the stylish navy sweater.
This is a lingerie-inspired satin laced buttoned top.
So sexy~
I love this dress.
It's a little heavy, but the cut, length and the lace with clear button details threw me away.
This single-button neutral jacket is very chic.

The Bay's new wardrobe

This post is the continuation of my last Bay post.
I just love the clean, sleek white blinding space that they have created in the women's apparel section.
It's not just me, but others would agree that The Bay really stepped up this time.
I love shopping at The Bay for huge discounts and I just can't wait when some of the designer items go on sale!!!!

I love the coat and the Chloe bag!
Great styling!
I think the cosmic element to the Rachel Roy chiffon blouse works really well.
I am head over heels with the nude, neutral colored dresses, especially this one with sequins and beadings.
This Rachel Roy dress is fun!
The sexy cleavage with asymmetric cut and the chain details remind me of Carrie Bradshaw.
I am into this striped shirt with leather-ish shoulder padding.
Simple yet stylish, a key piece for any fall outfit.
Shearing and cocoon shaped coat. Combination of last year and this year's fall trends.
This outfit looks stylish, but at the same time, it gives off a REALLY geeky vibe.
The jacket and the pants I love, but not sure about those boots with socks...
Such a perfect school outfit. Looks really preppy and yet classy.
The sweater on the right looks awfully cozy~

The Bay's new make-over

I was impressed with The Bay's new make-over!
They are carrying fewer products than before, but their selection has much better quality and style.
The merchandise are presented and displayed in much better cases and in light.
I actually wanted to buy shoes from The Bay, which never happend before.
The upstairs lady's wear has really improved and now displaying McQueen, Rachel Roy, See by Chloe and Free People! All my favourite brands!
I am loving this new Moschino tote!
Ooh! I'm a sucker for these Guess open-toe boots!
Love these studded Rachel Roys!
I would totally get both!
Clogs... They are out for the fall season, but I am still in summer mode.
Sam Edelman spotted loafer! LOVE!

Afternoon Dillydallying @ Broadwayand South Granville and downtown

When I got off the Broadway Commercial train station, I had some time to spare before I was heading out to the Artist's Talk at Diane Ferris Gallery.
I went into the Shopper's and saw they had Anna Sui beauty counter!
I loved the package for the new collection.

Then I stopped by Jacana gallery for Veronica Plewman's show. The paintings were absolutely breath-taking.
The artist portrays BC landscapes in abstract configuration, but you could actually recognize some of the figures in the abstract smear.
Then I went to a special bookstore at Broadway and Granville. The store carried some really cool books and as always I headed to the Art History /fashion / illustration book section. I was drawn to this book
funny right?
And this was "Favourite Dresses." I just love the cover.
After the Artist's Talk, I took the bus over the bridge into the downtown.
Again, I had to wait for my bus :( So I went into the Bay.
You know, the bus schedule is to blame when it come to my shopping problems.
I shop to kill time.
I love the new clutches at the Bay!
The sequined one is not even Halston, but is still gorgeous.

Days into the Fall

I love layering and wrapping myself with a scarf.
I don't really care about sock-wearing, but the glove-wearing part of the winter will compensate for that.
My Goodness! It turned so cold so soon!
I'm bringing out my thick blazer/jacket out soon this fall.
Don't I look so preppy?

Last Days of Summer

The pictures I took (always with my cell phone camera), are from the last days of summer, which means last days before Sep 1st. Baring my legs for the last time until the next summer.

I also did some nail art which is not so visible with my phone camera before they get all scratched up by rapid essay writing portion of the exam.

Shorts in to the Fall

It's back to school month!
And I still get over my shorts! I love the feeling of light summer breeze on my bare legs.
Shorts, not the short-shorts that squeeze your thighs out when you sit, are actually more comfy than skinny jeans.
Watch Yosemite Sam trying on skinny jeans at Barney's.

I got these studded shorts at Off theWall for $11.
I was heading to the beach and didn't feel like wearing my granny pants.

Fall Preview (Window Shopping)

"Window shopping" is what I call it when you are drawn by the store display, try things on and not buy them.
Yup! My new fashion motto is NEVER buy anything at that moment!
Try'em on, take a picture and sleep on it for a day.
If you really like it and can't stop thinking about it, come back and get it.
It saves you lots of trips to the Salvation Army.

If you actually try on the clothes and ruminate over it, you may change your mind.
Here are the summer/fall transition outfits I tried at H&M, Banana Republic and Club Monaco.

The denim shirt and beige riding pant
